Got my new flip key from GTO G8 TA cut and programed. Easy peasy, mate, easy peasy. Now I have two flip keys and the straight one in case I ever have to go to the dealer.

2009 G8 GXP - Sport Red Metallic (#821 of 1829 / #33 of 74 as Optioned)
Looked at it in the garage with the front end in the air. Still not on the road. Rears are done and bled, front studs are swapped out and brakes are on and bled, but waiting on the wheel spacers so I can get this thing going.
For the record, don't believe it, Sportline 8s wheels WILL NOT clear CTSV/GXP Brembos on the front.
Good news is the spacers will be on their way tomorrow at the latest.

I went to a reputable shop and it was thirty dollars. I still have my little numbered piece that came with the keys. I don't know if that made any difference or not. GTO G8 TA 's company has a video on Youtube that shows how to program the key and the key fob.
