Been dying to drive the G8 since I've just got back from down under and saw more Holdens than I ever will. The blue, green and red ones really are eye catching and stand out from the mass of mostly smaller Japanese cars. Even saw a few of the pickup versions. Sadly my G8 will have to wait as I'm hanging out in the SF bay area for a bit. (Hey! to Morris and the Yeti)

Had to move it out of the garage due to a huge puddle developing under my car from the wife's car melting yestrday.

Squeegeed it out ..didnt want water/moisture under the car while it sits.

Awesome! I've looked at the salt/puddle from my ladies Grand Am in the garage with interest. Always making sure it doesn't get too close to my G8.

I was told from a collector in my town he never allows moisture in his garage. It causes many issues for cars that sit for pro longed times.
Also with this new liquid salt they use on our roads it destroys everything. Plus if there is moisture and salt anything aluminum will discolor etc.

Finally had my Solo axlebacks installed. I was scared to to it myself since 1 bolt on each side was rusted pretty bad. If something went wrong, I wanted it to be at a muffler shop and I'm glad I did. One side came loose pretty easily and the 4th bolt snapped off. The muffler dude didn't panic and tried several methods to get it out to no avail and finally welded another bolt shaft to shaft and was able to back the broken bolt out.
