It really wasn't a bad looking car, had a little lope to it and it was red so I thought we had something in common.
Obviously we didn't. He made a little show in the opposite direction when we left.

    Default Adjustability Good/Bad

While it is nice to have a height adjustable suspension, it is also a pain. Adjusted the rear again today. Here is how I have tweaked these:

    1. Initial installation - way too high
    2. Lowered it - better but settled too low.
    3. Bumped it up - was good on street tires, but rubbed a little too much on the big drag radials.
    4. Adjusted it up what I thought would be right - but ended way too high and looked bad with street tires
    5. Brought it back down some - looks decent with street tires and should give a bit more clearance

I can get the rear shocks and spring assembly in and out really quick now though.

In the process of getting my G8 transformed by Rick C. I'm getting a milder cam and new pistons installed in the stroker motor with a new tune. I'm getting a new starter, a new alternator and the revised A/C bracket installed. Lastly, I'm swapping back to stock axles and torque converter. I also suspect that a rear wheel hub or hub bearing needs to be replaced.

Not considering a ctsv or zl1 torque converter?

No. The way I drive the G8 I'm backing off bit on aftermarket parts and mods. It's more of a touring G8 and I've never raced it. Sure I like to punch it every now and then on the highway but after four years with the current mods I want a quieter and more reliable driving experience.

Replaced the rear swaybar end links (1 was broken) with a set from Moog. Washed, vacuumed, stood back and admired, then drove ; )
