a custom dyno tune is cheaper and most likely your tuner will set it back to stock for free if any problems arise...

And uninstall the intake and exhaust. lol..

I played that game before with my TT. For some reason the dealer didn't like that game.

Don't get me wrong, I know the odds of something going wrong and the dealer denying you coverage is slim, I'm just not ready yet.

Plus I'm actually pretty satisfied with the performance of my car now as it is stock, well, I put GXP mufflers on but I don't think that did much but make it sound better. But... I would love to get rid of the AFM. The vibration annoys the hell out of me.

I really didn't see any difference in my mileage. Still getting about 22 on the highway and very happy with the tune of the cortex. The dod will always be disabled unless I have to take it to the dealer.

I think the Eibach Pro kit is my next mod. Well that and the GXP diffuser I just got today in the mail. After I get it painted to match my MSM. I ordered center cap overlays for my wheels, I'll post how they look when I get them on in a week or so. I got a few other goodies, but all just visual candy.

    Cortex... hmmmm my poor Amex.

I gained 1.5 - 2 MPG by turning AFM off. I think it might have to do with the very hilly landscape of seattle and the afm constantly going in and out.

Ok...guys.. WTH are u talking about "vibration"
My car runs smooth as a babies ass on the interstate. I have not noticed any vibration, any "jerking" or anything odd.. In fact at this point Im wondering if my DOD has ever even engaged because I dont know how the hell you know when its engaged. I cant tell any difference in my car!

never noticed it until I had my headers. Once I had headers it was very noticeable.
