Default how strong are these motors?

I've got a GT with about 2800 miles on it, and I'm considering boosting it. was just curious how much power the L76 is good for, and what the weak links in the motor were?

They are good thus far to 550 or so, that's the most I've seen a member push. The intense G8 is in the 650hp club, but I don't know if they built the block up or not. Most guys have the Maggie 1900 pushing ~3psi I believe. Let Wreckwriter or boosted jump in they are both FI.
    Very stock... looking.

They appear to be fairly strong, so boost it up!

Nowhere near potential yet, still fighting shift issues.

Our INTENSE TT G8 GT has put down 723 rwhp and has held up fine. We are more concerned with the transmission holding up. We did take some precautions though with stronger connecting rod bolts.

The rod bolts themselves change the durability greatly.. Having said that, one of my pistons shattered at less than 5000 miles at only a little over 420 whp. You win some, you lose some
Winning may not be everything, but its still better than losing

I don't know you. I don't know what have done. If you are looking to talk up a race for 3 hours, I can tell you I don't have the time. But what I do have are a very particular set of parts; parts I have acquired over a very long career. Parts that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you go home, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not punk you. But if you don't, I will punk you, I will race you, and I will embarrass you.
