Thread: Hose where does it go? & what is this line?

    Default Hose where does it go? & what is this line?

    1) I found a rubber hose hanging down between transmission on drivers side and heat shield. What does this attached to? Comes from top of transmission area. 2) what is this metal line go to? there is nothing connected to it, it originates from above transmission coming down on passenger side. I don't think the rubber hose connects to this line, doesn't make sense. See pics. Thanks for help!

    The rubber hose is the vent tube for the trans, it normally goes to a white plug that is secured to the back of the drivers head. You could temporarily use a zip the to hold it vertical afaik, maybe to a nearby wiring harness or similar.

    Greg @ pace can get you a new plug if you need.

    I can't 4emember what the other metal tube is for.

    Correct on the rubber hose.

    The metal line is a overflow vent for the tranny.
