New G8 Owner in Canada
Hey all,
I'm from the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario Canada.
Found this forum after doing some google searches to fix my rear diffuser.
Picked up a red 09 G8 a few weeks ago for a great price and 12 mo warranty!
Dealership was nice enough to slap some bfg gsport tires on it :]
It's a v6 auto, but my first rwd car!
Glad to have found this place, as I'm itching to throw some upgrades at it!

2009 G8 GT Maverick Silver Metallic
Interestingly we traded in our 2009 red G8 V6 a few weeks ago at a dealer in the GTA. It would be quite funny if it were the same car. Regardless, the G8 is a great car. I would have kept it longer but I wanted a Cruze diesel with a manual transmission and GM is dropping the manual for 2019. Our G8 was bought new from Searles in Ingersoll in August 2009 after calling all the dealers between Toronto and London in a frantic attempt to find one.
That is a fun car! I was able to drive one pre-release as my friend was on the team for it. Reminded me of an Opel Insignia diesel
It will be a rare beast. We are considering selling the 17 SS or my truck to get a Bolt for her, I'd like another Cruze for myself actually - I put just under 20k on 2 of the new models and they are rock solid.
