Don’t get me wrong Perth is a great place to live,but the cops are making it difficult for us to drive our VE’s around without the threat ov getting a defect notice,even stock cars with different rims would be a target.

So just an update,I’ve changed the coils,regaped the plugs from .039” to .032” runs a lot better,idles sounds much better now,but I’ve taken it for a drive which was surprisingly good lots of power if I feed the right foot in smoothly but if I mash the throttle it started surging or missing not sure as it revs all the way to the limiter in 4th, so now my problem is in the tuner....what do y’all thing?

What’s the best gap then? As the tuner told me to go .032”!? I’m starting to loss faith in this guy

Hey people, just an update to my situation..well re gapped plugs to .035”..still no better in terms of surging which has lead me to thinking its maybe a fuel problems,so I’ve had my injectors cleaned but much the same just smoother idle. Then last week a mate of mine had suggested I change my plugs back to the stock oem iridiums,but I’d not done it cause I thought it’ll just be a waste of time, but he persisted so we changed them and went for a drive and what do you know,the fucker pulled like a freight train,hell the thing was fast and didn’t miss a beat,it’s weird that I was that easy of a fix but I was so blind to see it...crazy.
So now back to the tuner to finish the tune.
