I got the controller back. Carl said it was fine.
I got a different set of install instructions in an email though. Not happy. Can't find anyone local that can install that controller and make it work.
    Let the car sit.

There are a lot of reputable guys in DFW and Houston. I shipped mine once and it cost about $600. If you can get it running, it’s cheaper to drive it and get a one way airline ticket home, then back when it’s ready. I did that when I had my tranny built in Houston and only spent a couple of hundred on airfare.

    The DFW group is huge.

I was there briefly tagging along on my fiancées trip for a conference and it was a great group!

They have some great hook ups and have an active FB group [and maybe on the forum?]

I still haven't got anywhere with the car. I need a F body fuel pump regulator. Guess I better call Greg. Oh yeah, I have a Roto Fab coming too.

Good to hear Ray. I just didn't see a point in you paying shipping twice for something Carl might have also.

Hi Ray I'm investigating why mine is running lean after a pass, guessing its a fuel delivery problem. I haven't installed a fuel pressure gauge to know if this is the issue, probable should start there I'm guessing . Are there any procedures I can follow to install a gauge? where is the best place to install by the pump, next to the fuel rail? Sorry for hijacking your thread.

Fuel pump rated to 600whp dyno says car is at 573whp I think.

The G8 goes into another shop today to install the F body fuel pump controller.

Keith: I have a fuel pressure gauge but never installed it. With HPtuners logging, I was down to 45 psi with 575 to the wheels. I need to get my car detailed because it's going to cars and coffee on Saturday.

You could always have Rick Crawford tape one to the windshield like he did mine. LOL

Mine is on the fuel rail which is great because it's an easy install and you can see it when it's on the dyno, but worthless when driving down the road. Mine sits at 60PSI at all times.
