Front fitment question 20x9 275 30 20

I have a spare 20x9 Camaro wheel and a 275 30 20 tire that I am thinking about using as a full size spare. I know that this combo will likely rub if on the front, but how much would it rub? If I'm only using it as an emergency spare would it cause any problems?

What's the offset on that wheel? I've had a 20x9.5" +40et with a 275/30/20 on the front with no rub issues whatsoever.

I think it's 40mm.

Yeah it should be fine then. You’d have an extra 1/4” clearance from wheel on either side from my example set up

I know of a few people on the forums who run the rear Camaro wheels on all 4 corners

I have a 20x9 Camaro also and yes it's 40 offset. I put a 255x35 on it because I wasn't sure about the front fitment. Not very much sidewall protection but like you it's for emergencies only.

I ran a 20x9 up front with a 255/35 and plenty have squared 275

You should be fine. I have a spare new in the box chrome [aftermarket] Camaro 20x9 to off as well, from my old sets...shameless plug
