    Default will it fit?

Hey everyone, looking for input if this setup will work. My current Drag tires are strating to crack and I'm told I shouldn't use them they are 7 years old.

From the sticky that Speedracerx posted. it looks like it should work. the offset is 54 so this seems to be on the high side. but the rims I'm looking at are 17" rims. I think the hight is OK.

Hello Dlizzo, I called Jegs to see if the rims would work and they said no, cause of the 5x120 Is slightly bigger 5x120.65mm

They are indeed different bolt circle, but if you're only using them as a drag wheel then I don't see any issues. Daily driver use I would not recommend as they will be putting stress on the studs.

Others may tell you differently, but this is just how I feel in terms of my own safety and that of my family.

The offset in bolt/hole location will result in a bending stress in the studs. Aside from plain overloading a bolt, a bending stress is the worst kind of load to put on a threaded fastener. So the studs won't break immediately, but over the miles they will start to crack.

Agreed, I'm looking at options, thanks for the input. Also thank you Slizzo for the information.

Ok, new plan "will it fit?".

Tire, ET Street S/S, P275/45-18 ,Tire Diameter Range:27-27.99”. 45 is a taller tire, will this work? Most of everything I see says 40 is desired.
    Rim, 18X9,5X120 OFFSET +45
