    Default Howdy Folks

Just joined , Thought I should say hello and introduce myself first.

I "don't" drive a Pontiac G8 - but I must say that they do have the best looking front sheet metal / grille , front bar etc on anything that has come out of the GM Holden plant in the last few decades.

    My drives are :-

2012 Commodore VE Series II SSvZ utility 6.0 manual.

2000 Commodore VT CSV Strada Extreme Si 4 door sedan , 5.7 T56 manual

1998 Commodore VS HBD iD utility 5.0 4LS60E automatic

I'm a big fan of keeping all my cars as close to factory standard as possible unless the factory part is NLA or has a serious defect from new (Good example - early model T56 shifters are better off gone and replaced with a GMM billet Rip Shift)

Hopefully I'll have something of use to add to the discussion(s) in future.

G'day from South East Melbourne Australia.

    Cheers,

    Mark

Hey Mark thanks for joining up. Welcome!!

As car prices have dropped, more of our beloved G8s are looking worse for wear... However most of the active guys here are all quite proud and are original owners.

I hate explaining to my kiddos why Pontiac/Holden is gone. Damn shame.
