    Default What is this?

    This is a pretty dumb question but what are these things next to the bolt on my exhaust flange? Are they studs? How do i remove the bolt from the flange if that's the case? My long tubes are on order so I would like to know what i'm getting into. I've done plenty of work on cars but i can honestly say i've never seen these. Any help would be appreciated!

    Tack welds to keep bolt from turning.

    Any advice on how to remove them? Chisel and a hammer? I would hate to take a grinder under the car. Thanks!

    Cut off wheel, grinder, file, whatever it takes to break the bond with the bolt head. Might as well get the pb blaster out.
