Have you tried contacting PCM or Advanced Inductions in the Mooresville area.
I ended up buying Gmpp ls3 #821 heads from Adam Cooper he had them milled .030. I believe the compression is 11.05. I dynoed at 442 horse with the lunati RCR low lift cam. My G8 is a DD so downtime was paramount to me. Because I purchased the heads already cnc ported and milled it cut my downtime to nothing,however if I had the time Rick or Advanced Inductions would have gotten my stock heads for major rework. I know that Ricks head work would have been more power, but I made my decision.

I've taken my car to the track one time since getting the Dod work done 7.88 in the 1/8 th at 92.89 mph. Very good time.

Ultimately it's how fast you want to go vs how much you want to pay.

PCM tuned the car. I do not have it in the budget for the $1195 to get the heads done from advanced inductions. Was looking to have local machine shop just clean my heads install my new valve train and mill the heads for me .030. I have most everything for the DoD delete just need to figure out which cam, then figure out to mill the heads or not and if I can use the LS9 head gaskets I have

I have the cam from my NA engine build available. I can get the specs if you are interested. 12 degree split. 617/624 lift. It did like a little exhaust porting.

I'll get photos of it in the morning. I'm going to guess maybe 15k miles. It's been boxed over 2 years, along with a stock cam and a LS1 cam.
My engine builds and dates are all posted on this forum. Every cam change, turbo, super charger.
