Default 20x9 Reproduction Camaro wheels + tires

The car had aftermarket 19x8 chrome wheels since I bought it. Unfortunately, the chrome is now scraped, pitted, corroded, and flaking off. I also need tires again.

I love the look of chrome wheels and the camaro wheels look great. It also helps the reproductions are pretty darn cheap at $160 per wheel for 4 20x9x40mm. I have been researching this for weeks reading thread after thread, but there is conflicting information posted on the forums, so I thought I would ask. What size tires can I reliably fit? From what I read, most run 245x35x20 in the front and 275x35x20 in rear on these wheels. I've read that some may run 20x9 wheels on all corners, but most are staggered with 20x8s up front. Is this just because that's how the real camaro wheels came? I have also read that some run 275x35x20 all the way around, but most postings use smaller tires up front and don't say why.

I would like to find a non-directional summer tire and not stagger them so that I can properly rotate them.

Can anybody confirm these fitments for me?

I run 255x35x20 on all 4 just because the tires I bought were only in that size at the time.

Do you know the width and offset of your wheels? What tires do you recommend?

The stock Camaro wheels are 20x8 35 offset front 20x9 40 offset rear..you are correct with the 245x35 on the front but most run (including myself) 275x30 or 285x30 on the rear depending on suspension mods. A 275x35 with a 9 wheel might have clearence issues on the front. You could PM Slizzo on our forum and I'm sure he would confirm

I have 20x9 +40mm offset on all 4 corners. (4 "rear" wheels essentially)
I run 275/35/20 Nitto NT555 tires all around.
No issues up front. Rears have very minor fender rub over large dips in the road. A simple fender roll would fix.
I have Pedders OE height springs and FE3 shocks/struts.
I did the same all around so I could flip flop front-to-back if needed.
