Default Just bought the wife a new car

The wife and I like to keep our cars around for about 10 years or so. Well, yesterday she traded in her 2006 RAV 4 Limited with 209,000 miles for a new Jeep. I hope it will last as long as the RAV did. On the upside side, it will be "MY" turn next to get a new car.

My DD is a 2007 RAV4 Limited V6. It's been great. Almost traded it @ 6 months ago on a Durango RT. Now that it's been announced that the Durango SRT is coming, I'm glad I waited.
What Jeep did you guys get?

That's a nice looking Cherokee. Congrats! I have a TJ that I used for weekend off-roading.

Have a one-owner '92 4Runner w 411,000 on it. Still going strong. Very little invested in repairs over the years. Lowest cost per mile vehicle I have ever owned. We hunt out of a friend's DD Jeep. I could have bought two 4Runners with the money he has sunk into that Jeep to keep it running. It's your money, but it will soon be somebody else's if you are a long-term Jeep owner.

Thank you all for the comments - good and bad. My kid hates the color (Recon Green - 75-anniversary edition) but it's not her car. As long as the wife is happy that is all that matters, right? Anyway, the thing is loaded, what I like the most about it is the huge sunroof with an extra long glass roof. What I like the least about it is the bronze painted 18" rims, might take me a while to get used to it.

    Cheers,
