Default 12 aux / Cigarette lighter wiring GM factory screw up WTF ???

My 09 G8 does not a cigarette lighter installed and I'M fine with that. The problem is the 12 v aux outlets in the counsel doesn't work. When I go to the fuse box there is no 12 vdc to the cigarette or 12 aux circuits. It's like GM deleted the cigarette lighter power and Forgot it's also powering the 12 vdc aux output. WTF GM.........

Look in driver kick panel location. pull and check F13, F14, and F22. Had similar issue the outlets stopped working. fix was replace a fuse.

Thanks for the replys. The fuses are all good.
With the fuses out I used a DMM to measure the contact points in the fuse box. No 12vdc (car on or off).
Looks like a bad wire .......thanks

THose fuse locations are controlled by a RAP (retained Accessory power) Relay. There are two of them one controls the windows and cig plugs the other the radio I believe, THis is the feature that keeps them juiced up with the key out of the ignition until you open the driver door then it shuts everything down. The RAP relays are in that same Instrument panel fuse box. Try switching them around and see what works.

    Diagram Here:

So the relays in positions R1 and R7 are the ones you could try to switch around. Also looks like the Window motor circuit breaker at B2 could have something to do with the relay working, but that, being a circuit breaker, should reset on it's own.

Wow ....thanks for the diagram. That explains exactly what I'm seeing. I assumed that 12vdc was hard wired to the fuse. I'll try swapping the relays and see what hapens, but I think you solved my problem. muchos-gracias........
