    Default Got x pipe installed

I replaced the mid muffler on my car today with an x pipe, oddly, car seems to be running a bit smoother than before, but it could just be me being excited about the new addition to my car.

I do have a question though, why does everyone reccomend replacing that muffler? It doesnt really seem very restrictive, straight through design with holes and i guess matted in between.

To my knowledge they flow well. My guess is that they want a more aggressive exhaust sound over the stock muffler.

Yup, removing the mid muffler increases exhaust sound.

When I installed my x-pipe sound was a bit louder and noticeably deeper.
