Do the gxp mufflers sound alot louder than the stock gt mufflers? I don't mind loud, i just dont want drone. I found a video on you tube comparing the gxp to the slp powerflo and they sound the same?

Yes. To the point I had to grab a set of GT mufflers to avoid sounding like a douche canoe every time I start the car. I swap back to the GXP mufflers for dyno tuning and track days.

I did. 1 7/8 longtubes to their catted x pipe. GXP mufflers are loud on cold start and above half throttle. GT mufflers are perfect for daily driving but too restrictive for tuning or tracking. Luckily it takes @ 15 minutes to swap them.
My ARH headers, which I had coated by Swaintech, are for sale now if anyone is interested in the best headers with the best coating that money can buy.

I guess I might have to buy some gxp mufflers. I guess I can still get them from gm.

Corsa doesn't make an axle back, Solo does have bullet resonators to quiet their systems a bit. GXP muffs are louder than the GT's. Lots of folks prefer them with headers.

How much HP/TQ would you say you lose by putting stock mufflers back on over, say Solo, with cam, heads, headers, etc setup?
