    Default Easy polys to install?

I am putting together my parts to do a suspension refresh. I've got PPVs and will likely get Tein springs. I've already installed BMR cradle inserts. I might stick to rubber upper bushings for the front struts. What other poly bushings are easy to put in while I'm at it? From whiteline I see steering rack and sway bay bushings. There are others like control arm bushings that seem like they'd need a press to do that I don't have.

You might consider Moog end links for front and rear.

Since I am also stockpiling for a suspension overhaul, here's what I've learned.
You will need to replace the following due to TTY or due to one-time-use instructions from GM.

    FRONT
    GM 90251985 - Front Top Nut (x2)
    GM 92138862 - Front Strut Nut (x4)
    GM 92138863 - Front Strut Bolt (x4)
    GM 90125889 - Front Bumper (x2) - replacement recommended
GM 92279412 - Front Coil Spring Insulator (x2)

    REAR
GM 11516078 - Rear Shock Top Nut (x2)
    GM 11589280 - Rear Shock Bolts (x2)
    GM 11516078 - Rear Shock Fasteners (x2)
GM 11900443 - Rear Lower Control Arm Nut (x2)
    GM 92167839 / 92195502 - Rear Bumper (x2) - replacement recommended
GM 92252103 - Rear Coil Spring Insulator (x2)

I also recommend buying a front strut bolt kit (clevis bolts) which will cover the first three line items under the FRONT list for cheaper than buying stock.

I already did the moog end links a couple years ago. Hadn't thought about bolts... Thanks!

Another item to consider: A caster adjustment bolt kit.

There's a 50/50 chance that the caster will be off and result in a tracking pull after strut replacement. But this item can wait until after re-assembly and the alignment done to see how the tracking/caster is. I successfully installed the caster adjuster myself and corrected a slight pull without affecting the toe-in. The GM kit can add or subtract ~0.5 deg of caster. After market parts offer more caster adjustment but cost more.

I might stick to rubber upper bushings for the front struts.
I wouldn't do rubber strut bushings as I watched my factory rubber bushings collapse in the 1st 8k miles. So rubber just isn't going to last in the strut bushings.

Good call on this one. Both BMR and Pedders offers these.

If you do the rubber strut mounts, buy the Pedders. They use a dual rubber, hard in the middle softer on the outside so they last longer. Personally, I'd do the SuperPro poly strut mounts. Don't forget the bearings as well.

2009.5 MSM GXP 500ish N/A RWHP. Mods include but aren't limited to: Texas Speed 418 (6.8L) fully forged held together with ARP from top to bottom, PRC 255cc heads, Rick Crawford intake plenum, TB port, polish and tune, Roto-Fab 102mm CAI w/LS7 MAF, Kooks 1-7/8" headers wrapped with DEI, Corsa catless system, Circle D 3200 Stall, 3.45 final drive, BMR's complete street bushing kit and sway bars, Eibach Pro Kit, G-Force Axles, running on staggered VMR 710's with Bridgestone RE11 rubber. HSV triple gauge pack with Calais smokers kit mod, V6 tails, debadge/rebadge, V6 door handles, AU black door trim, Maverick Man under hood strut covers, & washer and bolt kit, fully corrected paint thanks to Adams Polishes and my hard work. Built with reliability in mind with some power for those times when you need to pass or go over a big hill. Just a poser, not a racer!
