Noisy AC doors?
When I start the car, I usually hear a thunk/click that I didn't used to hear, coming from in the dash. How many air actuator/flaps/door things are in there, and are any very difficult to replace? Should I be prepared to lose temp control or vent selection control?

Interesting... Every "problem" I've found with my car I think I've found others with the same and here is another.
OP, do you hear the same sound when your HVAC system goes into pollution control mode or recirculate? Mine has been making a noise in those situations forever.. was even under warranty yet but I didn't have the energy to complain and didn't want my dash torn apart. If your is the same I think you will be ok, except for trying to ignore the noise.

Mine I hear a "squeak" when a door closes and opens behind the dash hitting the recirculate button. I don't think I've noticed anything during starts..I'll have to listen next time.

Mine does the kangaroo fart between circulate and recirculate. It also goes "thunk" or "whack" when I change from defroster/high vents/floor vents. I have to lower the fan speed before change settings to prevent the thunking. Id also like to know what the fix for this issue is.
