    Default Do I need to reset TPMS after new battery

    Has to replace original battery. Noticed TPMS is all blank now. I take it I got to re do all that now. Was reading in book about. Seems like a lot of steps. Any suggestions

    I did not have to reset mine. Have you driven it yet?

    You might have put some miles on the car before they register again. If they don't come back up in the DIC, the reset procedure is very easy. Takes about 5 minutes.

    I have unhooked my battery multiple times and my sensors always come back to life after about 15 to 30 minutes of driving.

    Yep just drive it, my car takes almost a half hour to recognize that I've put the drag radials on and they don't have sensors. First time it happened to me I was almost to the track and it puts some big TPMS error message scared me until I realized, hey, those two rears don't have any sensors, so.....
