Spare tire well removal for evap canister access?
I'm trying to decide if removing the spare tire well will give me access to the evap canister. I tried replacing the vent valve today, and it appears that sometime in 09 GM revised the canister and valve, making them one assembly. I couldn't figure out how to separate them and I can't find a replacement valve online. Looking at this YouTube vid, one might have decent access if you can get the tire well out. Thoughts?

It is glued in with structural adhesive. It is not coming out without destroying it I think.

Well my search-fu was weak before. I finally found the newer valve, so I think can do it through the passenger wheel well.
