    Default Anyone here a service advisor for a dealership?

    Please excuse if this the wrong thread but i'm thinking of getting out of law enforcement. I've been a police officer for 7 years now. I feel that times have change over the years and the hours and the stress. I'm thinking of pursing a career in service advisor or auto adjuster. If anyone here who has worked in this field is it a smart choice?

    Not sure which way I may go, but I've been a police officer for 26 years and I'm thinking about retiring next year if Hillary wins the whitehouse. Several in my department are considering this because it's only going to get worse.

    Was one 10 years ago for short period for Jaguar. Left it to work as an Operations/System Analyst for 9 years..was laid off. Corporate America sucks Donkey Balls ..So ..I just had an interview for another advisor position for Honda.

    Contact Steve Duncan at Crown Honda in GSO he's the PBM owner you see all the time...might be able to get you job. I worked as a parts guy with him for many years. It's a stressful job too.

    Service advisor has ups and downs but most days I enjoy the stress, but I do work long hours and do not take my comp day off

    Don't blame you for looking around, that's for sure. Wouldn't want your job.
    You're still going to be dealing with the public, so there's always the "you" factor.
    You didn't build it
    You didn't sell it
    You didn't abuse or neglect it
    You didn't put off maintaining it
    You didn't break it
    But to some out folks there, it's all you fault...
    things are not what they appear to be.....
