Camaro spare
I have Camaro wheels 8" front 9" rears with Camaro Brembos on all four corners. I found a 9" on Camaro5 for a spare..what size tire would be a good fit? I have 245/35 front and 275/30 rear. Not sure what will clear in the front. TIA, Tom

IMO The issue would be the width with a 9" I dont think you would be able to use anything higher than a 255 or 265/35/20 .. I feel if you go with anything more than a 265 you would be too wide to use them up front ..turning would be limited before you rub. This is the reason I went with a 20x8 using a 255/35/20 tire and its just right for a spare to use on all 4 corners.

Thanks Mongo..I got the 9" because I don't see how a 8" would clear the rears. I have the Wretched brackets and I only have about a 1/4" of clearence (from caliper to spoke) as it sits. I think I'll go with a 255/35.

255/35 fits just fine on a 9", since its a spare anyway. You won't get any curb protection....but again, its a spare.
I ran 20x9 all around with a 255/35 front and a 275/30 rear.

My 9" Camaro w/ 255/35-20 on front don't ever rub.... but
like said above it has NO wheel rim protection from curbs and potholes.
