I'm with him -- I live in Friendswood -- which is a "rock's throw" away from Pearland, Texas (just outside of Houston). The temps down here have been "crazy hot" and we need whatever coaching / guidance we can get to run these cars cooler.

Thanks for the lead! Found a few (Rhodes Race Cars) and others. They come with a "Rule 2000" pump already in the tank. About $330.

    a) Is that all you need is 1 "in tank" pump?
    b) Do you need a pump for the return line?
    c) Sorry for the "dopey ass questions" but I'm learning
    d) what size hose did you use?

Yes that's all you need most intercooler come with 3/4 hose so you would need a 1" to 3/4 hose adapter unless you can find someone to weld in 1 inch connectors on your intercooler which would be even better. One rule pump in tank pumps way more than enough , no you do not need a return pump

Rule pumps belong in the bilge of a boat and that is about it. The heat, +5psi head pressure, 100% duty cycle just kills these pumps.

The EMP WP29 pump would be my choice with a trunk mounted ice box, it's also 1" in/out and about the best flowing pump you can buy. Does draw a descent amt of amps though, and needs to be 1" gravity fed but shouldn't be a prob w/large tank...

Unfortunately, I think you are right.

I went over to the CTS-V Owners site and - sure enough - there is evidence of a very high failure rate with Rule pumps in daily driven vehicles.

It's the 100% duty cycle that appears to be a common denominator.

....simply sharing what was out there.
