Yep! Sounds like Cali DMV for ya! I've had a few problems with them when I lived their, including one in which it took them 8weeks to issue me a title once my car sold. There excuse was they are short staffed and closed every Friday state wide. Ummm... SMH...

Sorry you got to go thru that mess.

So officially got the process started after multiple visits to the DMV. Went by the bank to drop of the verification finally so that they can submit the title for correction. Lady at the bank who deals withe DMV stuff said she has two other similar situations that are pending and she estimates at least 6 to 9 months even though the individual on the 1800 for the dmv said probably like 6-8 weeks. and the best part of all, is that I am prohibited from selling my car during this correction. If I continue to pay for another 9 months, the difference between keeping the ISF or the G8 is going to be down to about $9,000.

I LOVE my g8, but at that price difference I am not sure if it would better than the F. So irritated, pissed, and confused with this whole situation.

The DMV gives you just enough info to go away and get and then you come back with it, see another person that says you need something else and so on... F'ing HATE the DMV!
