    Update:

Discount tire sent me two new front tires. I had them mounted and Road Forced balanced yesterday. No more vibration (assuming due to a better balancing), but I still have a hard pull to the right!
What gives? Can the rear tires cause a drastic pull? Is it possible that even though I'm within the alignment specs, that the alignment could be the culprit?

Looks as though rear tires can cause a pull. Once I get home this evening I plan to swap the rear wheels/tires to see if that changes anything. If it doesn't, I will be taking the car back to the alignment rack for further inspection.

I sort of doubt the rear tires can cause a front pull. But let us know the outcome.

    Nope, not the rear tires.
Still pulls hard right, even with the rears switched.
So does this definitely point to the alignment? If so, how do I go about getting it corrected? I foresee me putting it back on the rack and the alignment guy saying, "well everything is in spec, there's nothing else I can do for it".

Unless the alignment guy is BSing you, I doubt the alignment is causing the pull because it would have to be off a lot to pull hard. How about jacking up the side that's pulling and spin the tire by hand. This would at least eliminate a failed hub or a dragging brake.

When mine kept pulling we found that the front cradle was out a bit thanks to a lousy mechanic at a dealer I no longer use. Might try realigning the cradle.
