    Going with the 555's - 255/35R20 & 275/35R20

Okay, BMR BK002 it is. Is there any additional hardware needed or is that it?

Yep. If it is the tie rods, what are y'all suggestions?

Probably my eyes playing tricks, but check those tire sizes.

The 2 on the inside look different from each other.

    Wow, yes they do.
I checked one 255 and one 275, but not all four.

Any suggestion? I'm about to have my girl bring the tires from home in the Yukon(30 min drive one way) so I can have them mounted, balanced and everything aligned, but I'd like to be able to know that I don't need new parts that I won't be able to get locally. I've checked local stores and no one stocks G8 tie rod ends, and I'd certainly need to replace them(if that is the cause of the play/noise) before an alignment.

If it were the LCAs, there is a test that specifically shows the ball joint slop. It doing the 3 and 9 shake but watching the ball joints from under the engine. Otherwise, best guess is the tie rods. 12 and 6 should also show ball joint slop.

We had three mechanic under the car yesterday replicating the 3 to 9 test. Nothing was found. The car didn't even make the noise that you hear in the video. 12 and 6 are good and tight, no slop. All components were visually and touch inspected, and everything seemed to be good.

I was planning to install these parts myself with some help from a fellow G8 owner who has already performed this install, but I was quoted at 300 dollars for everything installed and done by the shop that performed my alignment/balance. What do you guys think? Bite the bullet and save the headache by dropping 300 to have it done for me, or should we be able to knock this out without any crazy issues to face?

That seems like a great deal Garrett. Not sure what the shop hourly rate is, but typically at $100/hr is only 3 hours, which sounds like a great deal to get it done without having to wait for helpers.

Yea, the shop is really hooking me up to insure I become a return customer. I got the original quote to mount, F.R. balance, align, etc. down from 225 to 100 bucks.
