I once saw something strange moving strangely and fast in the far distance of the interstate median. I am in the fast lane and am immediately off the gas. As we get closer I realize it is an entire semi wheel that came off and is bouncing down the grass in the median still doing 60 mph or more. I immediately get on the brakes and come to a near stop. The people behind me were concerned about this, but a few seconds later the wheel comes bouncing out of the median, crosses both lanes of traffic, bounces through the ditch and puts a clean hole through a chain link fence and continues on into a farm field.

    That is some scary shit.
I had a road job a while back and saw some crazy stuff on the road, in the air and in the vehicles. Made me a much more cautious driver, but, sometimes you can't do enough.

Thats scary he was very luck, I'm an auto body tech and I've seen some close calls a few years back I did a gti vw where some kids where dropping huge rocks on to cars from a bridge and they dtopped a rock right through the guys sunroof in just barely missed his head. Also fixed a truck that was being nosey because he saw sparks sped up turns out it was a semi wheel and hit it dead on at 70.
