Default Livernois issues with Jeep Build...

Seems like a customer service issue has popped up, Livernois, how do you respond?

This issue isn't for this board. I read the thread you posted before. Let Livernois deal with the Jeep community.

It's an issue for Livernois and their customer service level, as well as how much they stand behind their sales. That is of interest to this board.

I agree, but there's always two sides to a story. I'm not saying Livernois was right or wrong, I'm just saying that it's only fair to hear both sides of the story before judging any situation.

2009.5 MSM GXP 500ish N/A RWHP. Mods include but aren't limited to: Texas Speed 418 (6.8L) fully forged held together with ARP from top to bottom, PRC 255cc heads, Rick Crawford intake plenum, TB port, polish and tune, Roto-Fab 102mm CAI w/LS7 MAF, Kooks 1-7/8" headers wrapped with DEI, Corsa catless system, Circle D 3200 Stall, 3.45 final drive, BMR's complete street bushing kit and sway bars, Eibach Pro Kit, G-Force Axles, running on staggered VMR 710's with Bridgestone RE11 rubber. HSV triple gauge pack with Calais smokers kit mod, V6 tails, debadge/rebadge, V6 door handles, AU black door trim, Maverick Man under hood strut covers, & washer and bolt kit, fully corrected paint thanks to Adams Polishes and my hard work. Built with reliability in mind with some power for those times when you need to pass or go over a big hill. Just a poser, not a racer!

Just for the sake of civil conversation, I read the thread over there and I really thought the guy was pretty balanced in his breakdown of the situation. He didn't full-on flog Livernois - I think his beef is that his setup wasn't given the attention that he thought it needed. He had a "gut" feeling that he was walking on the edge, but didn't have the know-how - or motivation to prove it out either way - before continuing to road test the vehicle. Should the tune have been spot on? Sure. Should anyone with a FI setup have a AFR gauge installed? Absolutely. Does stuff happen? Everyday.

The bottom line is that when you start ripping into engines, trans, tcms, and ecms beyond what they were designed and assembled for at the factory, the driver takes on a level of responsibility. If he didn't think the car was 100% right, he should've stayed out of it until it was... and if he thought that Livernois was dragging their feet, he should've been the squeaky wheel. Should he have to have been? There's the potential rub - and I think you get that from his post. Point blank, guy has the funds to replace his 2014 srt8 with a brand new ford raptor obviously has some level of intelligence - should've been a bit more cautious with the Jeep and a bit more aggressive with Livernois, in my opinion.

This post will stay until further notice. Any posts bashing the vendor will be removed.
If anyone has had an issue with a vendor, there is a forum to post that in.
    This isn't our beef.
