I'm sure you can find an ls3 or ls2 bottom end in great shape for less then building your. Not to mention what you'll get for your block, crank, rods after there cleaned and inspected.
You can check around on the forums and even some salvage yards. Some yards may have wrecked late model gm v8 cars.
I did find a c6 zo6 that was. Hit in the quarter and a fender bump after the first hit sell for $8000. He'll by the time to you sell the interior and what's left of the suspension and body you'll probably make enough money to fit the ls7 I NV your car then sell your stuff for all the goodies you'll want to stick on.
