    Default Ground points?

Hey guys! I've finally decided to chase my alternator whine out of my system. I soldered in the wiring harness and ran to a processor in the back. Then to amps and a single 10. I can turn down the processor and the whine mellows but it doesn't get loud enough. I'm starting with ground points. Where are they besides the passenger front kick panel and by the battery? TIA

I wish I had my book I'd take the pictures.
I'm pretty sure cp posted the diagram. See if you can find it.

I will say check the ground from the right (passenger) side cylinder head to the body.
It had given me a problem before.

I'm assuming the (L76) and (LY7) are engine references? If I have LS3 would it be the same as L76? Thanks again for the help

Just wanted to give you some tips newman. I've been trying to chase down whine in my stereo for about a year now. The good news is that the radio head unit does NOT ground through the chassis anywhere. I have already routed the ground wires from the 12V outlets and the radio harness to the same grounds as my amps but still have the whine. I have tried unplugging my Onstar unit (I dont have XM) just in case the radio was somehow getting a ground through that but it didn't make a difference either. I did notice that the radio antenna which plugs in on the drivers side of the radio is grounding somewhere, so the radio is able to ground through the antenna but I don't know how this could be fixed. Besides that, I don't know where else the radio could be grounding and causing ground loops.

I've also heard that doing the 'Big 3' upgrade helps but I haven't tried it.
