    Default Electric problems

Recently my batter was dying so I changed it to a new one and lately the car has been acting up when I mash the gas the car freaks out and light comes on contact dealer light then all goes away. I spoke to pat g since he tuned the car and says not tune related so what the hell could be the problem

Take the car somewhere where they can read DTC's and code history.

You need a scan tool to read shit the right way. Your autocal is just a code reader and that's it.

The autocal can only pull codes. That's it. Get it hooked up to a tech 2. Honestly the first thing I'd do is check your fuses and re tighten your battery terminals. Check the ground to the car in the trunk. I had the same thing happen on my G6 after I put a new battery in and it turned out that I had left the negative terminal loose.

wasn't it tuned with EFI live (isn't that was PAT uses?) that should at least show up some of the codes.

    However

what's the last MX events done on the car - was it in a wreck?

When your battery was replaced who did it and how was is done.

does the engine run smooth? are there issues there?

    does the car start normally?

what other mods - IE do you have HID's, radio or audio mods etc.

and have you disconnected the negative again for more than 30 minutes - and tried it again?

have you checked all the fuses on the car?
