Where can I get a high output alternator?

I've been looking around online for one but I can't find any. Please someone help I need one asap due to me wanting to put car audio in.

Look locally for a rebuild shop, they can usually up the amperage.
Maybe ask an audio shop??

I'd trust teh PPV swap more than some aftermarket one - reasoning. our alternator has a field affect sense circuit such that the field in the generator portaion if controlled by the BCM based on the car's need.

if you get too far out of it's expected range it might fault out and throw an error code.

there might also be one for a GM truck that would work - something like the alternator for the diesel 2500 or such.

but I have to ask the other question: why and what do you need more amperage for?
