State Fair Meet in Dallas
So those that live near or around Dallas/ Ft. Worth that may have missed the FB page, we are planning a cruise and car show at the state fair this weekend. This is NOT put on by a G8 group, but rather a GTO group that is including "GM Performance" vehicles this year as the numbers have dwindled down and they wish to keep the venue open to the car show. So in order to do so, they have allowed other GM cars!

A few facts that everyone should know....
1. Entry into the fair is FREE!
2. Everyone in your Goat, also gets in FREE!
3. The Classic Car Corral is just steps from the Automobile building INSIDE ON THE GROUNDS OF FAIR PARK! and your car will be in a fenced, enclosed area.... nobody can touch your car.
4. We must arrive before 9 am and we can't leave until 6 pm due to the fact that we are inside the SFT and they don't want us driving through the crowds.....
5. This may sound like a long time, BUT it really worked out great, just ask anyone who went before.
6. We will have a breakfast GTG at the Denny's on Central Expressway. 4400 North Central Expressway, Dallas, 75231
(Just south of Knox-Henderson rd on the north bound side of 75 )
7. You DO NOT have to be a member of the ETG to join in with us at the SFT.

A reminder on the SFT Texas rules;
No glass containers
No loud radios ( defined as, can't be heard outside of your car )
No revving motors
Technically, we can't bring in outside food or drinks, but we've always done this. Just bring a Dixie cup or a plastic cup from home and keep a low profile with the coolers ( must stay in the car ).
