Default Dealer Fail On PPV Alternator Install

Last month I had my local GM dealer install my brand new PPV alternator.

Notice how they totally missed the front mounting hole. So my question is, do I need to be worried about the bearing, case, or anything else being damaged? Could the lack of proper alignment also have caused or eventually cause damage to any other things like the tensioner or ???

No but I'm sure it will cause structural issues with the mounting hole as half has been under pressure.

They should replace the employee that did such a poor job the first time.

Try to get them to replace the belt too. May have worn it funny.

I am glad they are taking care of it. The replacement alt for my ppv high output unit has a new part number, anybody know if the new part number/new alternator is different than the old one? Also should I just use the pulley that comes with the new alt or the pulley from the original 100 amp factory alt?

    Definitely cracked!!!!
Glad they are taking care of it, bracket obviously broke from being torqued down with no alternator behind to stop it.
