    Default Transmission controler

Had mine fail and replaced. Where is it located as I want to know if it is in the transmission and they had to change the ATF. It was under warranted so did not see an invoice detailing costs.

I have just over 50,000 miles on it. Mostly gently driven and think 50,000 is too early to have to change the fluid.

The pan had to come off to pull the TCM, hence the fluid change.

I think it's a bit weird you didn't get an invoice detailing the work performed. I did when I had a TSB performed for the 2-3 shift flare under warranty. It holds the dealer accountable for work performed in case anything comes into question in the future.
