    Default My 09 G8 GT MGM Ride Thread!

    Figured I'd make a new ride thread to keep track of the progress, I just got it less than 2 weeks ago with 54,500 miles. I'm in Metro Detroit Michigan as well.

    First off its a 2009 Magnetic Gray Metallic G8 GT

    Thanks guys, I want to lower the g8 eventually, my gp is on custom built coilovers but rides pretty rough. So if the g8 will feel like that I'm very hesitant.
    I love the g8 compared to my gp tho. Although that was a lot cheaper to mod. I already have a list of stuff I want to do over the time.

    Just picked up some camaro 20s, polished, 20x9 for rear and 20x8 for the fronts. Pretty much mint condition for 400.

    Here's the start of the color scheme. Orange! Will have orange Brembos and oracle halos in the headlights and fog lights by the time I'm done with it.

    Had the day off today n did some constructive sh!t lol. Put a HD lip on the g8 and swapped out oil caps from the gp. Does clash rn because it's Grey and red but maybe I'll get an orange n Grey one again from reflectiveconcepts. Also took the ctsv's off the grand prix.




    The HD lip is such a little thing that does a lot I think. I was maybe going to get a Splitter but I'm undecided. Maybe in the future.

    Here they are.. Just washed, vacuumed, detailed. The whole 9. Man these are some thin tires. It seems like I. Old have gotten away with a 35 series at least in the rear, I don't see where it'd be rubbing. There's a lot of room.
