Is there anything I can do at home with this? I would like to check it out as much as possible before Chris gets it. The corner was damaged in shipping, but it was just the case and the thick back plate. It powers up, which is a VERY good sign, based on some shipping horror stories.

If you read this Chris, do you need the faceplate too or just the infamous "silver box"?

Chris just needs the silver box nothing else.
If it powers up that is all you can test for the normal person

Me I asked the seller for the vin and programmed my spare BCM to match and could fully test it out.

A good deal? Not a chance. It's been the purchase from hell. Between shipping fees and double charges, I almost want to walk away from it.

Now my car sits with no steering wheel and most of the trim removed. Good luck stealing it now!

I'm undecided on where to put the USB/Aux jack. I bought the one below for ease of installation, but its pretty damn deep and I think I need to be spot on with my 1.5" hole in the glove box Does anyone have a good inconspicuous idea?

I had CP send me the correct series 2 center console bin with a place for the USB and audio jack.
