Default Any luck displaying windows tablet via aux in?

I have been working with an acer w4 windows tablet in hopes of displaying through aux in, but the image does not show on this screen. I am using a hdmi to av converter and it seems to work on other displays like my 4.3" mirror lcd and an old CRT tv.

Anyone have any ideas why this doesn't work or how to make it work?

    Thanks!
    Keith

Maybe there is something wrong with your video cable? Did you try connecting another video source to the G8?

What do you have to do to even get something to display?

VIM is needed if you want to see video while driving. Video cuts out past 2-3mph otherwise. To see video in park or going less than 2-3mph, connect your video cable and video source and make sure rear aux is turned on. Default from factory is off IIRC.

Nothing wrong with the cable. iPod video works well.
