There is a lot of info on those mufflers on several different sites. I am not sure how they sound but out of 8 or so top selling mufflers they had the best lowend, midrange and top end hp and tq. There was also charts on Db levels where it showed it was pretty loud. While pricing the top selling mufflers from only two sites, I found the Borlas were about avg with the others, about 79 bucks each. I have the sites and info if you need it.....

Thanks for the info. Do you know the difference between the 40358 and the 40659? Not much info on Borla's site, but the only difference appears to be case size and price.

I got the mufflers welded and installed today with 3.5" tips. The sound is exactly what I was looking for. I had a Borla catback on my previous GXP and loved the deep rumble. This time I am doing Kooks LT with Xpipe and wanted that same deep rumble so I figured the most likely muffler to do it would be a Borla.

Can you get a sound clip? Right now, does it still have the resonators in place?
