No, most times they are cut after removing the original, there might be spacers at the bottom though, I forget.Originally Posted by conipc
Some research revealed that Lexus has a service bulletin on this very problem. Apparently, they have had creaks and ticks from the locators and have a procedure to remove the posts. I was working on that when the whole thing came off the 'shield, so problem solved. Now to see if the noise is gone!
