    Default SKS project

    Started working on my dad's sks today. I ordered the sgworks bullpup kit and got it fitted today. Still have a lot more parts to buy and work to do.
    I plan on upgrading the firing pin for one with a return spring, adding a mag adapter to accept AR 7.62 mags, modify the bolt so mags can be inserted and removed while the bolt is closed, and remove the front sight and bayonet lug so I can shorten the barrel and put on a muzzle break. Then I'll need to get some optics and a foregrip. After that I'll either paint it or have it hydro dipped.

    Nice, I was thinking about getting the sgworks kit as well....

    Man, the options for SKS's has grown so much since I bought and sold mine for an AK. I miss my paratrooper SKS.
