Ill be leaving around 1 eastern time, ill post my mpg for the first leg and let you guys know. Ive been running premium fuel, you think I should run 85 or 87 instead?

If it's not tuned for premium, run mid grade. 89 I believe is what it calls for.

HSV triple gauge pack with Calais smokers kit mod, V6 tails, debadge/rebadge, V6 door handles, AU black door trim, Maverick Man under hood strut covers, & washer and bolt kit, fully corrected paint thanks to Adams Polishes and my hard work. All the owners manual says is at least 87, but the midgrade will save me 10 to 20 cents a gallon. Thanks!

What's next Ray, a jab at V6 owners?
On a trip from Michigan to Maine I got around 25-26mpg... There's some very low frequency drone with my exhaust so it was easy to know when AFM was on which worked in my favor.

Where abouts in Michigan you going? I'm sure some of us could advise good spots to eat or things to see if you have time. Also, check out gasbuddy's app if you have a smartphone. Gas can vary by 10-15cents a gallon, sometimes more, within a few miles.

For a 4000lb car with a 6.0L V8? Yah, pretty small. You only have 16 gallons before the gas light comes on. The TBSS has a 22 gal tank.
