Spent some time fabbing up a new exhaust today.

Jones X-pipe mid muffler and Cherry Bomb Vortex axle backs with 3.5" tips. Used the stock center section and cut out the resonators, axle backs are completely new, didn't use any of the stock axle backs.

Only when AFM activates, and even then it's not much worse than stock. My tires make more noise at low load cruise. Granted, I only have a few miles on it so far.

What price was the muffler? It's a straight through? True x pipe?

I assume you are asking about the center muffler. It does have an internal x pipe, but is set up like two y-pipes rather than a true x. It's $50 from summit and otherwise identical to its magnaflow counterpart, so I couldn't justify spending more than double for the tru-x and a name.

It is a lot quieter than I expected it to be, time will tell if that will change once the system breaks in a bit more.
