Default torque pro smartphone app Questions, my trans temp is 32* ?

1st. the torque pro app on my 7" tablet has been awesome! but why is it reading trans temp as a constant 32 degrees? i have a trans temp option in "engineering mode" on the car, but that's always in celsius. so obviously, i've got a sensor. anybody else have the right temp actually showing on the app?

2nd. the car is completely stock, and my oil pressure drops to 25-30 at warm idle. it's more like 45-50 at cold idle. is 25-30 normal?

3rd and last. my IAT is consistently 20 degrees (or more) warmer than ambient air. am i drawing warm air from engine bay? or is the IAT sensor getting cooked against a coolant hose? would a rotofab intake fix this issue?

Thanks for all the Grrrr8 help!

I can speak to the iat, yes that sounds right. And it sounds like the trans temp isn't valid, or pulling the wrong pid.

I have my dashhawk plugged in and it reads the trans temp perfectly and matches the Eng mode once you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit.

No problem, it'll also read oil temp too.

Torque pro is awesome. I'll have to see what it reads the trans temp at for me, as I've never paid attention before.

So I've just started using this - thought I'd bump the thread.

I don't seem to have Outside Air temp or again using the wrong PID. There are 3 apparently. So eventually I'll hit it.

Trans temp - there are 5. so also eventually I'll hit it.

Bought the ODBLink MX device. Mostly becasue I didn't want to cheap out and end up damaging something expensive and because it has some support. I also bought their widows software with the GM enhancement pack. Supposed to read ABS and SRS systems as well as trans, and AC on the G8 and anything built before 2014 that's GM. (there's a ford pack but I hear Forscan works amazingly - for free.)

I used it to monitor oil pressure on a couple trucks and worked like a charm. Well worth it!!
