If you are shipping us a radio for programming please read this!
I know its been said before that even the stock units that have never been removed from vehicles get the dreaded changer mechanism error. It can be MUCH easier to damage the unit if you dont follow our recommended shipping standards (found in our T&C). I'm going to try and rehash those recommendations here just to be on the safe side.
1. Don't ship it USPS; seriously don't EVERY USPS radio we've gotten has had the CD changer not functioning when we receive it. I cant repair these parts sorry. UPS or FedEx insured is the only way to fly on this one.
2. Double box the unit. Put the silverbox into a padded smaller box then put that smaller box into a double wall box with bubble wrap or some other soft and durable packing material between them.
Thanks!
