Default Morimoto H11 Elite HID System From TRS

    Brand: Morimoto
    Price: $159.71 (Shipped to 77066)
    Purchased From: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3955

    Installation: Easy
    Installation Time: 1 Hour
Installation Tips: Jack the car up and take the wheels off. Pop the cover from under the fenders to reach the lights. Best way to do this.

    Quality of Part: 10
Product Performance: 8 (Cons: Warmup time of the lights and color of lights during warmup does not seem up to OEM quality.)
Would you Recommend to Others: Yes

    Any Other Comments:

In the video the lights look blue, but in real life they are very very very crisp white.

I've heard nothing but good things about the TRS kits and I may have to pick one up next time they have a sale. Thanks for the video review.

My DDM kit is giving me fits, so I ordered another DDM kit. But, I said to hell with it, Im getting TRS kit instead. I've had so many problems with the DDM kit. Im done with it. I'll be returning my the one ordered today back. Looking forward to my TRS kit.

How does the brightness compare to the stock projectors?

I'm running the same kit but with the 4300k bulbs and they perform great. Has a great OEM look to it and the quality is leaps and bounds better than that DDM garbage.

What did you guys use for the 12V battery connection under the hood?

Against the fuse box (towards front of car) there is a gray/brown rubber cap, under that cap is a constant 12V source. Simply remove nut from the stud, place the 12V wire, and fasten it down.

If you ordered the standard H11 bulbs from TRS you got the wrong ones, our cars need the XB35 H11B bulbs so the ground return wire is at the bottom when it's installed. This will prevent any weird ground shadows in the light output.
