GM recalling 38,000 Pontiac G8s over air-bag issue

I'm looking for two front seat belts, that was not previously lock or rebuilt

As long as the air bag light doesn't come on, it's no need to take it to the dealer, if it was bad the airbag light would have came on already

I believe recalls are null and void on salvage title vehicles.

6-25-13 - woman on cell phone failed to yield to the right of way, dashed in front my GT, T-boned, My air bag (driver) went off a good 3.5 seconds after collision, and my gf's (passenger) did not go off AT ALL, not even after being towed to insurance... Help? what to do? who to contact? for the RECALL issue ONLY.

Might has a rebuilt title and I keep getting the notice, will be going in soon so we will see.

What is your specific issue with it not going off? I understand it should not go off seconds after the accident but were you injured because of it and have you had the airbag system serviced for the recall?

I took my car in today to get the recall done and now my airbag light is flashing on and off. A fault hasn't came on the DIC yet... just the small light on the left side of the instrument cluster is flashing. My car never had any issues before getting this airbag reprogram. Anyone else have this happen. I'm pissed.
